Admissions: Guidelines and Procedure

Your first step toward joining the Malgudi Vidyanikethan family.

Dear Parents,

Thank you for considering Malgudi Vidyanikethan for your child’s educational journey! We’re excited to support your child’s growth into an independent individual.

Admission Procedure

  • Admissions are subject to available vacancies.
  • The child’s readiness will be assessed.
  • Our school does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, caste, or creed in its admission policy.
  • Siblings are granted admission to Malgudi Vidyanikethan on a priority basis.

Admissions are granted to students on the basis of the following assessments:

  • Pre-Mont to Mont-III: Interaction of the child.
  • Grade I onwards: Written test based.
  • Student Viva are considered only as an interface technique.
  • Concept tests are based on expected key milestones for every class.

Any student seeking admission to Std 10th shall undergo an interest inventory test.

Visit Campus

Visiting campus is necessary to get overall information. You can book a campus tour to visit personally or virtually. Parents can clear all their doubts with admissions counsellors.

Counselling & Assessments

Assessment is an integral part of the admission process which is conducted by professional counsellors in the form of a written test to gauge the student's knowledge.

Application Submission

You can fill in the application form online or offline and submit it along with the admission fee and required documents as mentioned in the section below.

Payment of Confirmation Fee

After review, selected candidates get a confirmation call. Parents must then pay the confirmation fee to culminate the admission procedure and confirm the child's seat.

Required Documentation

Please attach the following documents with the admission form (originals to be produced at the time of admission):

  • An attested photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
  • Progress card of previous academic year (Class 1 onwards).
  • Parent’s and student's Aadhaar Card (Photocopy).
  • Medical fitness certificate of the child.
  • Proof of Residence (Photocopy).
  • Original Transfer Certificate (if applicable).
  • Passport size photograph of a child, mother & father.
